Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a frontend-focused software engineer to help evolve the Avigilon Alta Video UI. The role emphasizes high-performance engineering, architectural integrity, and reliable real-time tools.

You’ll work with Vue 3, Pinia, TypeScript, and Go, focusing on logic, state management, and maintainable solutions while collaborating across teams and embracing remote-friendly practices.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and ideally modern frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and websockets; solid understanding of web development principles.
• Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (Pinia, Vuex, or Redux) and reactivity/observables.
• Demonstrated team player skills and willingness to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for our products and systems.
• Build tested, maintainable code and debug when necessary.
• Implement state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.
• Deliver code with a basic understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment, Git.
• Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and propose solutions.
