Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking a frontend developer for the Avigilon Alta Video UI team in Edinburgh. The role focuses on Vue 3, TypeScript, and state management to support scalable real-time tools. Hybrid work model with two days in the office.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years experience in frontend tech, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, websockets, and design patterns. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years software engineering experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript and frontend frameworks
• Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (Pinia, Vuex, or Redux)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and websockets; good web dev principles
• Foundation in data structures/algorithms & design patterns
• Team player and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Analyses, develops, and maintains software for products and systems
• Develops, validates, tests, and debugs maintainable code
• Implements state management patterns and API integrations
• Understands CI/CD principles, deployment, and Git workflows
• Collaborates with other teams to gather requirements
