Job summary

Hargreaves Lansdown is seeking a Frontend Engineer with a strong React and TypeScript focus to help build, evolve and improve customer-facing platforms and services. You will work across frontend and backend areas in a modern cloud-based environment, leveraging AI-enabled development approaches to enhance delivery and productivity.

You’ll own frontend features end-to-end, collaborate with Product, Design, Platform and Engineering teams, and contribute to reliable, accessible user experiences

Qualifications

• Solid experience with React and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Ability to build clean, maintainable UI components.
• Understanding of API-driven applications and frontend/backend integration.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, intuitive customer-facing interfaces.
• Develop reusable components and contribute to frontend architecture.
• Work with APIs and integrate frontend with backend services.
• Build and consume GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Contribute to data management across platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Platform and Engineering teams.
