Job summary

algo1 is hiring a frontend-focused full-stack engineer in London to design and build web experiences for brands and retailers. You’ll own end-to-end features, with a frontend emphasis, working with product, design, mobile, and machine-learning teams to ship reliable, real-time interfaces.

You’ll with frontier AI tooling and a modern stack, turning ambitious ideas into production-ready software that users rely on to measure in-store activity. This role is office-based in London.

Qualifications

• Frontend depth with TypeScript and React.
• Strong UX sensibility and web design fundamentals.
• Experience with real-time and bi-directional communication (WebSockets, SSE).
• Comfort with full-stack work and API/system design conversations.
• Cloud deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Product mindset and ownership of what you build.
• Ability to ship complex, customer-facing features quickly.
• Experience with AI-native tools and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own substantial end-to-end features from product conversation through design, implementation, and production.
• Design responsive, real-time interfaces for brands and retailers to manage and analyze the in-store experience.
• Translate complexity into simple, intuitive interfaces for non-technical users.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with product, design, and ML.
• Contribute to API design, system design, and documentation as part of delivery.
• Ensure production quality with testing, observability, and post-release investigation.
