Job summary

Lane Clark & Peacock in London is seeking a Software Development Engineer to focus on modern web applications using Vue and TypeScript. The role blends frontend development with light full-stack work across Node.js and .NET in a lean, AI-enabled team.

You will join the Digital Services central development team as the third member, collaborating with Web, Platforms and QA to deliver secure, usable solutions and robust automated tests while expanding your skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience developing modern web apps with frontend focus.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Vue 3, including components and RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrable UX judgement and ability to create usable interfaces.
• Experience with automated testing (unit, component, or end-to-end).
• Experience with Node.js for API development and cross-boundary work.
• 1+ year experience with C#/.NET.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive UIs using Vue and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend apps with APIs; work on Node.js/.NET components as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build clear user journeys and designs.
• Build and maintain automated tests at unit, component, and integration levels.
• Contribute to the full SDLC with a DevOps mindset.
• Investigate issues and deliver fixes with attention to user impact.
• Collaborate with Digital Services, Web, Platforms and QA teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
