Job summary

Amazon Ads is seeking a Front-End Engineer to join the Brand Innovation Lab in London. You will turn proven ad experiences into scalable, reusable components and templates, delivering features with React and TypeScript across the full software lifecycle.

You will work with Design Technologists, UX Designers, and product managers to translate customer experiences into technically scalable implementations, integrating with APIs and shared services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript for production-ready front-end features.
• Experience delivering professional front-end development across the full software lifecycle.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility, browser compatibility and web security practices.
• Experience with source control, code reviews, and modern development workflows.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Transform Brand Innovation Lab experiences into scalable, reusable front-end solutions (components/templates/frameworks).
• Design and deliver features using React and TypeScript across the lifecycle (design, implement, test, deploy, maintain).
• Improve quality and reliability by root-cause analysis, durable fixes, and reducing technical debt.
• Partner with design technologists, UX, product, and engineering teams to integrate with APIs and shared services.
• Improve development and operational processes through automation, testing, reviews, and maintainable patterns.
• On-call duties in rotation with other FEEs/Design Technologists.
