Job summary

Boots is seeking a Front End Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Nottingham Support Office. You’ll build components and experiences to grow boots.com, focusing on optimisation and personalisation while supporting Digital Trading to deliver customer-focused features.

You’ll work with JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with React and TypeScript being a plus, and contribute to A/B testing and performance improvements. Collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in JavaScript, HTML and CSS with modern web practices.
• Experience in TypeScript and React is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with legacy code and break problems into components.

Responsibilities

• Bring experiments from conception to live on boots.com.
• Collaborate with designers to refine hypotheses into briefs.
• Write front-end code and iterate based on feedback.
• Coordinate with IT to deploy experiments to production.
