Job summary

Ncounter, a technology consultancy, is hiring a JavaScript Developer to empower digital transformation in public safety and government sectors. You will build modern web applications using React, TypeScript and JavaScript, delivering data-rich dashboards and user journeys for complex environments.

You will work with consultants and engineers, shaping requirements with stakeholders, integrating with REST APIs, and contributing to testing, CI/CD, security and accessibility best practices in a

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing applications with React and TypeScript.
• Excellent JavaScript, HTML and CSS fundamentals, including responsive and accessible design.
• Experience building secure applications and integrating frontend services with APIs.
• Strong testing experience, ideally including Jest and React Testing Library.
• Comfortable working with Git-based development, CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
• Experience within consultancy, government, law enforcement or similarly complex environments would be particularly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modern web applications using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Develop dashboards, data-rich interfaces and intuitive user journeys for complex operational environments.
• Work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and shape practical solutions.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, authentication services and wider enterprise platforms.
• Produce prototypes and proof-of-concepts to test ideas and support consultancy engagements.
• Contribute to testing, code reviews, CI/CD and engineering standards across delivery teams.
