TrueNorth is recruiting two Front End Developers to support a major UK government department in building digital services and online tools following the GOV.UK style.

The role focuses on accessible, user-friendly web services and online calculators, using Node.js and CASA framework where appropriate. You will contribute to front-end and back-end activities within a collaborative delivery team.

• Strong hands-on experience as a Front End Developer delivering web-based applications and services.
• Practical development experience with Node.js.

• Understanding of back-end development, alongside strong front-end capabilities.

We're looking for two experienced Front End Developers to support a major UK government department in developing a suite of digital services and online tools.

This is a hands‑on development role focused on building accessible, user‑friendly web services in the Welcome to GOV.UK style, including online calculators, web pages and a reminder service.

We're particularly interested in developers who have previously delivered government digital services using the CASA framework, although candidates with strong Node.js experience and a background developing front‑end services for other government departments will also be considered.

Key responsibilities:
