Job summary

Areti Group | B Corp™ is recruiting for a senior developer to work on UK government and public sector services. The role is largely remote with a Blackpool base and only 2-3 on-site days per month, inside IR35 at £340 per day.

You will deliver test-first, build integrations, translate requirements into technical solutions, and lead engineers within an Agile team while coordinating with senior stakeholders on technical direction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering on UK government or public sector projects.
• TDD and automated testing experience.
• Git or another distributed version control system experience.
• Development experience in cloud-based environments.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in Agile, multi-disciplinary teams.

Prior UK government or public sector delivery experience is essential for this role. We can't consider applications without it.

Nice to have

• Experience with the GOV.UK Design System or GDS Service Standard
• REST APIs (public-facing and internal) and microservices
• Picking up, maintaining and improving codebases written by other engineers
