Solirius Reply is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer / SDET to join our London-focused client projects. You will design, develop, and deliver test solutions while mentoring teammates and upholding best practices.

Most work can be done remotely, with travel to London as required by clients. The role suits candidates within a commutable distance to London and who enjoy collaboration across public and private sector projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities; able to thrive in dynamic environments.
• Deep understanding of QA processes and software development life-cycle.
• Proficient with front-end testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript (3+ years).
• Experience in API testing (RestAssured/SoapUI).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Verify usability, functionality, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Construct automation tools and expand framework capabilities for team needs.
• Establish processes for automation and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to QA and client projects by promoting testing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address automation challenges.
