Job summary

JSS is recruiting a Treasury Analyst to join our front office dealing team in London. The role is suited for someone with early ALM/BSM experience or in financial markets who wants broad exposure and to help shape liquidity, funding and investment strategy.

You will execute treasury transactions across money markets, repo, FX and fixed income, support BoE operations, track markets and produce reporting for senior management. Strong Excel, Power BI and Bloomberg skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a numerate subject.
• 1–3 years in bank treasury or financial markets with hands-on money markets, repo, fixed income, FX and rate derivatives.
• Strong analytical skills, confident interpreting financial data, market moves and economic trends.
• Interest in financial markets, macroeconomics and regulatory developments.
• Clear communicator, comfortable building relationships with colleagues, counterparties, brokers and clients.
• Highly organised and accurate under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel essential; Power BI, Bloomberg or treasury system experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute treasury transactions across money markets, repo, fixed income, FX and rate derivatives.
• Support BoE Sterling Monetary Framework operations and funding activity with ALM team.
• Track markets, yield curves and macro news to generate market commentary and ideas.
• Manage hedging portfolios, including execution and analysis of balance sheet exposures.
• Support liquidity and cash management, deploying surplus funds and managing collateral.
• Manage HQLA portfolio in line with regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
• Produce reporting for senior management, ALCO and governance committees.
• Build relationships with counterparties, brokers and clients including KYC onboarding.
• Contribute to treasury projects and system enhancements to strengthen controls.
