About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and guest-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our leadership team. In this hands-on role, you will oversee the daily operations of the front office, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of exceptional guest service. You will play a key part in mentoring the team, driving a culture of service excellence, and supporting the Rooms Division Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, support, and motivate the front office team to deliver exceptional service at every touchpoint
Ensure seamless check-in, check-out, and reservations processes while maintaining accurate records
Resolve guest enquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a solution-focused approach
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and memorable guest experience
Monitor and maintain front office procedures, cash handling, billing, and audit processes in line with company policies
Train, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
Assist with rostering, workforce planning, and managing daily staffing levels to meet business needs
Uphold and promote workplace health and safety, hygiene, and brand standards at all times
About You
Previous experience in front office or guest services, ideally in a hotel environment, with exposure to supervisory responsibilities
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for guest engagement
Professional, calm, and solutions-oriented approach, particularly during busy periods or when resolving guest concerns
Sound knowledge of front office and reservation systems (familiarity with Opera or similar systems is an advantage)
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest accounts, billing, and reporting
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
