Job summary

You will be embedded with traders and sales, building analytics and productionising tools that improve trading efficiency and decision support. The ideal candidate has strong coding experience (Python) and exposure to AI coding tools, with an undergraduate degree in a related field and a keen interest in structured products and derivatives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or CS is required; master's preferred in a finance/IT focus.
• You will need coding experience with Python and exposure to AI coding tools (Claude Code).
• Strong technical, analytical and collaborative skills for front-office environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas and productionise tools and analytics with traders and sales to improve efficiency.
• Create analytics that automate processes and provide new opportunities for Nomura’s trading business.
• Collaborate with IT/quant groups to deliver robust technology solutions for structured products.
