Job summary

Nomura’s Global Markets division seeks a Desk Aligned Strats for Structured Products in London. You will work with traders and sales to develop analytics, productionise tools, and deliver insights that drive trading decisions.

The role requires a solid academic background in finance or CS and coding experience, with Python proficiency and interest in AI tools. It offers front-office exposure and cross-team collaboration in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in related discipline (Finance, CS) is required.
• Master’s degree in finance/IT is an advantage (e.g. Financial Engineering, Computational Finance).
• Experience coding; broad language exposure or strong Python experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas and productionise tools and analytics with traders and sales teams.
• Collaborate with FO traders and desks to automate workflows and improve efficiencies.
• Liaise with IT / quant groups to deliver robust technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
