Job summary

Marex Group in London is seeking a Front Office Developer (Commando) to deliver tools and applications to the trading desk, covering hedging, risk management, pricing and ad-hoc trading activities.

Based in London, you will join the Derivatives Engine within Marex Solutions, working closely with Trading, Quants and Technology to raise the team’s technical maturity and translate complex requirements into performant code. 2–5 years of experience with strong Python is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong applied Python knowledge.
• Professional developer experience.
• Good experience in software design, OOP, and deploying Production-level code.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, balancing tasks across shifting priorities.
• 2–5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support applications for the Derivatives Engine Trading Desk, covering hedging, risk management, pricing and ad-hoc trading activities.
• Ensure trading applications conform to Marex technology testing standards and have proper support plans.
• Work closely with Quants and Technology to ensure trading requirements are understood and accounted for in the design and implementation.
• Help with handover of tactical applications to Technology teams and improve the team’s technical maturity.
