Job summary

Marex Solutions is seeking a Front Office Developer (Commando) based in London to deliver tools to the trading desk for hedging, risk management, pricing and ad-hoc trading activities. The role requires a strong technical background, with Python proficiency and professional development experience.

You will work with Quants and Technology within the Derivatives Engine and collaborate with Trading to enhance the team's maturity.

Qualifications

• Strong applied Python knowledge required.
• Professional developer experience required.
• Good communication skills, including ability to explain complex matters simply and to translate requirements into performant code.
• 2–5 years of experience; candidates outside this range will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and participate in the support of applications for the Derivatives Engine Trading Desk, to cover hedging & risk management, pricing, and ad-hoc trading activities.
• Ensure that trading applications conform to Marex technology testing standards and that proper support plans are in place.
• Work closely with Quants and Technology to ensure Trading requirements are understood and implemented in the design and development of global applications.
• Collaborate with Trading to improve the technological maturity of the team and identify areas for gains.
