Job summary

G MASS Consulting are partnered with a leading global financial services group to appoint an experienced eFX Business Analyst for their London FX business. This front-office role sits at the heart of a strategic eFX platform change, migrating from an existing liquidity aggregation platform to a vendor system, coordinating across desks and with Technology and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Front Office Business Analyst or BA/PM within eFX.
• Strong understanding of eFX market structure and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with third-party eFX aggregation or trading platforms.
• Solid FX product knowledge across Spot, Forwards, Swaps and NDFs.
• Working knowledge of the FIX protocol and integration with pricing, risk and booking systems.
• Experience managing third-party vendors through requirements, testing and delivery.
• Strong project management skills coordinating across desks and stakeholders.
• Credible in front of traders and able to challenge/prioritise under time pressure.
• Excellent documentation skills and test plan creation.
• Awareness of MiFID II requirements in electronic trading is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with traders, sales and desk heads to capture and prioritise requirements for the new platform.
• Map current-state eFX workflows, including liquidity provider connectivity and price distribution.
• Run gap analysis between platforms and agree remediation with stakeholders.
• Act as primary liaison with the vendor on specs, issues and milestones.
• Establish and run regular working groups across desks, vendor, Technology and Operations.
• Plan and project manage migration across desks, onboarding and cutover.
• Define and coordinate UAT with traders and Technology, including test scenarios.
• Work with Technology on FIX connectivity and data interfaces.
• Engage Risk, Compliance and Ops on pre-trade controls and MiFID II implications.
• Maintain delivery plans, RAID logs and progress reporting to programme lead.
