Job summary

State Street, London, is seeking an AVP to join the SSM Risk and FRM team in an on-site role. You will lead first-line credit risk activities across multiple SSM business lines, including Financing Solutions and FX Sales & Trading, with a focus on capital and liquidity risk in Capital Markets.

The successful candidate will bring 3–5 years of counterparty credit risk experience, knowledge of FX and OTC derivatives, and strong risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics or business or related field.
• 3–5 years of counterparty credit risk experience.
• Formal credit training is strongly preferred.
• CFA or FRM designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit reviews of counterparties and prospects within each SSM business line.
• Partner with sales and relationship management teams to ensure timely and thorough credit analysis.
• Negotiate client-facing credit terms in agreements for all SSM counterparties and monitor ATEs.
• Manage collection of up-to-date financial information for all counterparties.
• Participate in due diligence calls and visits, periodic or ad-hoc.
• Review credit utilization reports and investigate over-limit conditions.
• Support Front Office Risk and Enterprise Risk Management collaboration.
• Inform ERM of relevant counterparty developments.
• Perform other tasks to support Front Office Credit and Market Risk teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in economics or business

3–5 years counterparty credit risk experience
