Job summary

Standard Chartered in London is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to cover the Prime Services and XVA desks. You will work closely with Trading, Sales, In-Business Risk and Credit Officers to monitor risks and ensure they stay within approved risk appetite, approving limit requests within delegated authorities.

The successful candidate will have 7–8 years of market risk experience spanning securities and financial derivatives in a financial institution.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of Market Risk experience in securities and derivatives.
• Experience in Counterparty credit risk is a plus.
• Strong understanding of risk measures and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor risks of Prime Services and XVA to stay within risk appetite.
• Review daily Prime Services limit excess requests and new business proposals.
• Provide risk analysis for weekly/monthly governance forums.
• Design and approve risk limit frameworks with Credit Risk and In-Business Risk partners.
