Client Server Limited in London is seeking a backend-focused C++ Software Engineer to redevelop a core equity trading system for the EMEA market. You will primarily work on the backend using C++ on Linux, addressing high-volume data and low-latency challenges.

This Front Office role offers direct exposure to traders, ownership from design to delivery, and a weekly work-from-home option. Salary up to £125k plus bonus, with pension and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

Strong C++ backend development experience.
Experience working with traders in Front Office trading environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Solid knowledge of CS fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures.
Degree in Computer Science or related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

Redevelop and customize a core equity trading system for the EMEA market.
Focus on backend development in C++ on Linux, building large data-intensive systems.
Involve low-latency development and high-volume data performance tasks.
Own projects from initial design through to delivery with direct trader exposure.
