Job summary

DV Trading in London is seeking a senior C++ Software Engineer to help lead the build-out of a greenfield, event-based trading and market data system for commodities. You will design and implement ultra-low-latency components, market data pipelines, risk and connect to major exchanges.

You'll work on end-to-end ownership from design to production, collaborating with traders, quants and developers in a small team. 7+ years of C++ and strong Linux knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional C++ development.
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput trading systems.
• Knowledge of exchange connectivity and market microstructure.
• Strong Linux/Unix, version control, and performance profiling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of DV Commodities' core C++ trading platform.
• Develop exchange connectivity and feed handlers (CME, ICE, etc.).
• Optimize for microsecond/nanosecond latency with lock-free structures.
• Collaborate with quants and traders on feature requests.
• Develop simulation and live trading components.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to production support.
