Regardless of the occasion, we’re here to serve great-tasting food and drink, with our guests at the heart of everything we do. The Metropolitan was formerly a grand Victorian railway hotel. Now, the historic building is enjoying a new life as a delightful bar and restaurant, serving a range of classic British dishes covering everything from hearty breakfasts and Sunday lunches to sumptuously sweet desserts. Our bar is brimming with a selection of cask and craft ales, fine wines, spirits, cocktails and much more, providing the perfect accompaniment for an evening out or refreshing day drinks in our sunny beer garden.
