Job summary

Minster Tavern is seeking an experienced Front of House Team Leader to inspire and lead the wider team in delivering an exceptional guest experience at our historic Ely pub.

You will collaborate with the management team to translate our shared vision into day-to-day service, ensure consistent operations, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel at home. This role is based at Minster Tavern, opposite Ely Cathedral, with opportunities to engage in a dynamic hospitality environment.

We are part of a handpicked, small batch of British pubs, designed to be welcoming spaces for both casual visitors and regulars. Our focus is on creating memorable moments in a vibrant, social environment where people can unwind, connect, and enjoy. We serve a menu of well-loved traditional food and drinks, made with care and served in a way that feels like home. We’re dedicated to offering a warm, authentic experience where good food, good drink, and great company always take centre stage. The Minster Tavern is a traditional pub opposite the west tower of the impressive Ely Cathedral, just a stone’s throw from the main High Street shops. We are the oldest pub in Ely with a claim to be "just a little bit haunted." We host a very popular Tuesday quiz night and show all the live sport for our guests to enjoy.
