Job summary

Delfino Lounge is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join our team in England. You’ll lead front-of-house shifts, coach colleagues, and ensure guests receive outstanding service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

As part of Loungers, we offer up to £13.30/hour plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. This role suits someone aiming for progression in hospitality and management.

Qualifications

• Leads by example on the floor and sets the pace for the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team through each shift and support managers.
• Ensure great service and smooth operation during busy periods.
• Coach, guide and motivate staff across the floor.
• Monitor cleanliness, food safety, allergens and cash handling.
• Address customer queries or complaints professionally.
• Drive sales by managing the bar and pass and promoting the lounge.

Job description

• Lead from the front during busy shifts, helping the team deliver great service and keep everything running smoothly
• Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor
• Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service
• Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes
• Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one
• Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a Lounge that your local community loves coming back to

• Someone who leads by example on the floor and sets the pace for the team around them
• A natural host who helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Delfino Lounge feel like a home from home
• Community-minded - you get to know your regulars, your neighbours, and what makes Stroud tick
• Comfortable taking ownership of a shift - delegating, managing the pass and bar, and dealing with customer queries confidently
• Experience in restaurants, bars, caf s or coffee shops - whether as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or a brilliant front of house team member ready for their next step
