Loungers is hiring a Front of House Supervisor for Marisco Lounge, a local café bar. Up to £13.30/hr + tips, with paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. This is a great next step for an experienced Front of House Team Leader ready to move into management, with opportunities across England and Wales.

The role involves leading shifts, supporting managers, and ensuring top-tier service, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for the community.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead on the floor during busy shifts to ensure smooth service and high standards.
• Support management with day-to-day lounge operations from opening to close.
• Coach and motivate the team and ensure staff know their roles during service.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens, and cash handling processes.
• Handle customer queries or complaints confidently to turn visits into great experiences.
• Contribute to driving sales by managing the bar and pass and creating a welcoming Lounge environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead from the front during busy shifts, helping the team deliver great service and keep everything running smoothly
• Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor
• Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service
• Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes
• Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one
• Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a Lounge that your local community loves coming back to
