Our services have helped thousands of people make positive changes, fostering a sense of community, family, and employment. What you will be doing: The Brink Liverpool is part of the Forward Trust, operating across the UK. It is a unique venue that serves a thriving recovery community and the general public, linking seamlessly with local partners and residents.

The Brink Café, established in 2011 in Liverpool’s city centre, is an award-winning alcohol-free café bar and the first of its kind in the UK. It offers healthy food, non-alcoholic drinks, and a discreet environment for individuals seeking help for addiction. Many staff members have personal experience of recovery.

The venue hosts entertainment, activities such as open mic nights, film screenings, holistic therapies, and social forums, serving a diverse community in the Liverpool City Region.

We seek a flexible, empathetic individual passionate about learning and supporting those in recovery. Experience with similar backgrounds or lived experience is highly valued. The role involves supporting the General Manager, assisting in event planning and delivery, and contributing to the café’s daily operations, including kitchen and service duties.

What we offer:
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Flexible working
  • Wellbeing and financial schemes including cashback, therapy allowance, season ticket, cycle to work, crisis loans, electric car scheme
  • Annual leave starting at 25 days, increasing with service, plus bank holidays
