Job summary

Butcombe Group is seeking a friendly Front of House Team Member to join our busy pubs, delivering warm, efficient service across bar, restaurant and outdoors. You’ll greet guests, take orders, and help ensure smooth service throughout shifts.

You’ll work as part of a close-knit team in stunning locations, benefit from flexible development opportunities, team discounts, and wellbeing support; goal is memorable guest experiences and a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Creating brilliant guest experiences by delivering warm, friendly and efficient service at all times
• Serving food and drinks across the bar, restaurant, and outdoor areas with confidence and care
• Helping to keep the pub running smoothly throughout the day, including set-up and close-down of service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere across all front-of-house areas
• Supporting the team during busy shifts to ensure service is fast, smooth, and well-organised
• Preparing the bar and restaurant areas for service, including restocking and glassware management
• Following all safety, hygiene, and licensing standards to keep guests and colleagues safe
• Working closely with your team to create a positive, energetic, and supportive environment
• Taking pride in your role, bringing personality, and delivering every shift with a “can do” attitude
