Job summary

The Royal Air Force Museum in London is seeking a Visitor Experience Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations, supervise Visitor Experience Assistants and volunteers, and ensure a welcoming, high-quality visitor experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising people in visitor operations or similar customer-facing roles.
• Experience in heritage, tourism, arts, or cultural venues is preferred.
• Good judgement and the ability to manage unfamiliar situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Visitor Experience Assistants and volunteers to deliver excellent service.
• Create a welcoming, safe and engaging environment for visitors and staff.
• Coach and empower the front-of-house team to deliver first‑class customer service.
• Support rotas, leave requests, sickness absence and flexible staffing.
