Job summary

Wake The Tiger in Bristol is seeking Front of House Event staff to deliver a growing calendar of events and venue hires. This casual, zero-hour role requires energy, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work evenings and weekends, with shifts that may end late.

You will support the events team to ensure a welcoming, safe and seamless guest experience. Join a team that handles corporate away days, private parties and large gatherings up to 600 guests, with taxi home provided

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence in fast-paced hospitality environments.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working front of house in hospitality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and late finishes.
• Good availability November–December 2025.

Responsibilities

• Understand Wake The Tiger narrative and mission.
• Support Duty Manager in health and safety and evacuations (training provided).
• Vigilance against damage or theft across the venue.
• Report issues to the Duty Manager and provide shift handover.
• Stewarding, glass collection, litter pickup, setup and reset as required.
• Take on additional tasks as required for event delivery.
