Job description

DHP Family Ltd is looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused Front of House Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of our front of house operations during live events at our flagship venue, Rock City.

This is a hands‑on role in a busy, fast‑paced venue environment. You’ll help coordinate key front of house areas including ticket scanning, reception, cloakroom, customer flow, VIP arrivals and guestlist entry, while supporting and guiding the team to deliver a welcoming, efficient and professional experience for every customer.

Working closely with the Venue Promo Manager, Security and the wider management team, you’ll act as a visible point of support for Front of House and Promotions staff, helping with day‑to‑day communication, team organisation, customer service standards and operational readiness across events.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure and takes pride in creating a positive customer experience. You’ll be confident engaging with customers and colleagues, able to support and motivate team members, and comfortable working in a live events environment with large crowds, loud music, event lighting and late‑night working patterns.

The role will involve supporting ticket scanning, reception and cloakroom operations, helping manage queues and admissions, coordinating staff across front of house areas, maintaining clean and organised spaces, gathering customer feedback and supporting the development of team members through coaching, guidance and regular feedback.

You’ll need to be reliable, organised, proactive and professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing event demands. Experience in hospitality, events, promotions, retail, customer service or entertainment venues would be beneficial, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, confidence and commitment to high standards.

This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in a live events or customer service environment, with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and support the progression of the Front of House team.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has experience in a customer‑facing role
  • Is confident communicating with customers, colleagues and managers
  • Can support, motivate and guide a team
  • Is organised, reliable and able to use initiative
  • Stays calm and professional in a busy environment
  • Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service
  • Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Please note: this role involves working in a busy live events environment, which may include high noise levels, large crowds, event lighting and late‑night finishes.
