Job summary

Tesco Cafs in the United Kingdom is hiring a Front of House team member to deliver friendly, efficient service and keep the caf inviting.

You will serve food and drinks, maintain cleanliness, and stay up-to-date with menu changes while following health and safety standards. The role offers flexible working options and opportunities to progress within Tesco Cafs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Resolve customer complaints and relay information to the Caf Manager.
• Maintain food freshness by following first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Accept deliveries and handle the safe storage of food.
• Be aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
• Clear and sanitise tables so our caf stays clean.
• Ensure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Stay up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
• Know our cafs menu inside out and serve food as intended.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks for customers.
