Job summary

Tesco Cafs are looking for a Front of House team member to deliver great service, manage daily tasks, and ensure high standards in food safety and cleanliness. You will resolve customer queries, keep FIFO stock, and help serve hot and cold drinks in a fast-paced caf environment.

You will work as part of a friendly team, maintaining menu knowledge and supporting initiatives while upholding health and safety standards. Flexible working and career progression are highlighted in the benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolving customer complaints and relaying information to the Caf Manager.
• Maintaining food freshness by FIFO stock rotation.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
• Clearing and sanitising tables so our caf stays clean.
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
• Knowing our cafs menu inside out and making sure food is served the way its intended.
• Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
• With your dedication to excellent service and your keen understanding of health and safety standards, you'll help make every day a little better.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
