Job summary

Wilmslow Garden Centre is seeking a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant for our Restaurant in Wilmslow. You will welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks while maintaining knowledge of the menu and collaborating with FOH and kitchen teams.

The role requires 30 hours per week over five days, with weekend shifts. We offer a competitive hourly rate (£10.40–£12.75), a healthy work/life balance, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear communication and ability to work with the FOH and kitchen teams.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.
• Barista experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain front of house and counters to company standards.
• Present menus, take orders, and suggest food and beverages.
• Provide counter service and prepare beverages.
• Deliver meals to tables as needed.
• Prepare restaurant tables with emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness.
• Process payments at electronic till points.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks and close FOH areas daily.
• Assist with back of house duties if required.
