Job summary

Locke is seeking a friendly night receptionist to welcome guests and ensure a smooth check-in from arrival to departure.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you will be the face of the property, handling reservations and queries across online, phone and in person, while sharing local recommendations.

This role supports a flexible, people-focused culture and offers the opportunity to be part of the Edyn family across European cities.

Qualifications

• Natural host with excellent people skills and strong organisational abilities.
• Hospitality or guest services experience is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple channels (phone, email, in-person) with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the night reception team, greeting guests and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out.
• Handle reservations and queries online, by email, on the phone and in person with a can-do attitude.
• Inform guests about local attractions and things to do during their stay.
• Support the Assistant General Manager and coordinate with guests, contractors and visitors.
• Manage out-of-hours guest queries for other Edyn properties.

The role.

Are you a natural host? A people person with next‑level organisational skills? Do you get a kick from creating a seamless, welcoming experience?

Reporting to and supporting the Assistant General Manager, you’ll be a key member of the night reception team and the face of the Locke brand. It’ll be up to you to make our guests feel at home from the minute they arrive, until the minute they leave (if they can bring themselves to do that…).

What it looks like;

• Creating tell-your-mates experiences for guests
• Being a friendly face and go‑to person for guests, contractors and visitors
• Inspiring and informing guests on local attractions and goings-on
• Welcoming guests when you check them in and leaving a great impression when you check them out
• Managing reservations and queries online, by email, on the phone and in person with a can‑do attitude
• Handling out-of-hours guest queries for other edyn properties
