William Strike Ltd is seeking passionate Front of House Assistants for our Strikes Garden Centre restaurant. The role is part-time with weekend work and pays £10.40–£12.75 per hour, depending on age. Roles offer 20 hours over 4 days or 16 hours over 2 days.

You will greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure the front of house area stays clean and welcoming. Barista experience is preferred but training is provided.

Job description

We are looking for Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistants to join the team in our Restaurant in Strikes Garden Centre. Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per Hour dependent on age. Roles available are 20 per week over 4 days & 16 per week over 2 days. All positions will involve weekend work so flexibility is a must.

The Role

• As a Front of House Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, take orders, and serve our fantastic food and drinks to our customer. You will need to have full knowledge of the food and beverage menus and will work closely with your FOH and kitchen teams to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.
• Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards
• Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
• Providing Counter Service and preparing beverages.
• Deliver our Chef prepared meals to customers at their tables
• Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
• Processing payment at electronic till points
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
• Closing front of house areas each day to our company standards
• May be required to assist with back of house duties

Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.

Barista experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given

Strong customer service skills.
