Please note that whilst the job is 25 hours per week on average, this will fluctuate during busy periods. We guarantee an average of 25 hours per week over a 3 month period. There are more hours available if interested.

To deliver excellent value to our customers, we have passionate team behind us, and we currently have a vacancy for a Auditorium Box Office Assistant to join us at Yarm School, Yarm, TS15 9EJ.

You'll be creating a great experience for students and customers in our Auditorium. You will be responsible for ticket sales, re-seating, and handling transactions at events. Additionally, you will assist with marketing for our events and support general administrative tasks.

What you'll do:
  1. Sell tickets through our daytime Box Office both in person and over the phone.
  2. Manage the Box Office at shows in the Princess Alexandra Auditorium and Friarage Theatre.
  3. Greet and welcome people to events, representing the organization positively.
  4. Perform Box Office tasks requiring a good level of computer competency.
  5. Assist as the Assistant Front of House Manager on show nights, sometimes covering for the FOH manager during holidays or busy periods.
  6. Support general marketing tasks as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  7. Provide polite and confident customer service.
  8. Handle any other administrative tasks as required.
