Job summary

Maki & Ramen is hiring a Front of House lead for a new site in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will welcome guests, manage reservations, take orders, and ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Basic math and familiarity with POS systems preferred.
• Hospitality experience is advantageous, especially for a launch site.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.
• Take orders accurately and relay to kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and tidily.
• Handle payments and process transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining area.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and courteously.

Pay Rate: £12.71-£13.00 (typical earnings up to £14 p/h with tips)

Hours/Schedule: 40-45 hours per week (hours are negotiable)
