Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Project Engineer in the UK water industry or similar.
• Front-end engineering involvement with scope definition and optioning.
• Hands-on site surveys and asset inspections.
• Ability to estimate costs and plan projects.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out mechanical site surveys and asset condition assessments.
• Developing project scopes and engineering solutions.
• Producing feasibility studies and optioneering reports.
• Defining mechanical equipment replacements and upgrade strategies.
• Supporting outline and detailed design teams with practical engineering input.
• Preparing budgets, estimates and technical scopes for tender.
• Working alongside commercial and delivery teams during pre-construction.
• Providing technical support throughout construction and commissioning.
• Liaising with water company clients, operations teams and subcontractors.
• Ensuring solutions comply with client standards and current legislation.
