Job summary

Assystem is recruiting for a Front-End Project Manager to support and manage planning, coordination, and execution of front-end development activities on complex infrastructure projects in the UK. You will ensure early-stage programme development is structured, evidence-based, and aligned with business objectives to enable a smooth transition into design and delivery phases.

The role requires hands-on consultancy or construction background, NEC4 contract experience, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• SC Clearance and ability to work in Glasgow 3 days/week.
• Hands-on consultancy and/or construction background.
• Experience in infrastructure or utilities would be ideal.
• Strong commercial awareness & ability to challenge CE’s.
• Hands-on experience with NEC4 contracts & stakeholder management.
• IT proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Support front-end project delivery for complex infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and stakeholder inputs to define delivery-ready project scope.
• Maintain project plans, risk logs, and governance documents across the front-end lifecycle.
• Prepare input for governance boards, investment reviews and steering groups.
• Manage NEC4 contracts as the Project/Service Manager.
