Accenture in London is seeking an experienced Front End Engineering Manager to lead frontend teams across mobile and web platforms. You will collaborate with product, design, data science, and engineering to deliver user-facing products while integrating Generative AI into solutions.

The role emphasizes client engagement, advisory leadership, and driving transformation across large digital programmes, with a requirement to spend time onsite with clients three days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontend engineering teams/squads.
• Experience building web/mobile frontends with modern frameworks (React, iOS, Android, React Native).
• Experience using Generative AI in workflows or products.
• Experience integrating cloud services into complex solutions (GraphQL/REST).
• Senior software engineering roles (Engineering Lead/Team Lead).
• Extensive agile experience for digital product creation.
• Knowledge of modern engineering practices (architecture, platform & site reliability, quality, CI/CD).

About the role:

We’re looking for individuals who are experts in front-end engineering for mobile or web platforms, with deep experience in modern frameworks and performance optimization. You’ll bring hands‑on experience with generative AI technologies and understand how to apply them to enhance product experiences. Consulting experience is also key - you’ll be comfortable engaging with clients, shaping solutions, and driving strategic outcomes.

As a frontend engineering manager, you will:

• Support growth within our customer technology product engineering practice

Qualification

We are looking for experience in the following:

• Previous experience leading front end engineering teams/squads
• Experience of building with modern frontend technologies on web and/or mobile (e.g. React/iOS/Android/React Native)
• Use of Generative AI within your workflows and/or products you are creating
• Experience with integrating cloud services directly into complex solutions(GraphQL/Restful APIs)
• Previous experience in software engineering senior roles (e.g. Engineering Lead, Team Lead)
• Extensive experience in agile environments for digital product creation
• Broad experience in modern engineering practices including:

• Systems Architecture
• Front End Engineering
• Platform & SRE Engineering
• Quality Engineering
• CI/CD

• Comfortable in articulating trends in technology and engineering practices
• Experience improving speed and quality outcomes using modern engineering practices

Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the outstanding services we are known for.

There is a requirement to work from the office 3 days per week, and on site with client when required.
