Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Front End Engineering Associate Manager in London to lead web product engineering for large digital and agile programs. You will shape architecture, influence governance, and drive measurable delivery improvements across client engagements.

You will champion performance, accessibility, and modern React/Next.js practices, while exploring Generative AI use cases to create measurable value and scalable outcomes. The role requires onsite collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience in front end engineering
  • Experience building with modern web frontend technologies and frameworks (React/Next.js). Mobile experience is a plus (iOS/Android/React Native)
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with modern React patterns (hooks, context, state management)
  • Experience with frontend testing strategies and tools (unit, integration and end-to-end), e.g., Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress
  • Accessibility-first delivery (WCAG), including semantic HTML and assistive technology testing
  • Web performance optimisation and profiling, including Core Web Vitals, bundle analysis and code-splitting
  • Deep experience building web applications with Next.js, including SSR/SSG/ISR patterns, routing and data-fetching
  • Strong UI engineering fundamentals: responsive design, modern CSS, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience contributing to and evolving design systems/component libraries (governance, documentation, and adoption)
  • Frontend build tooling and developer experience (e.g., Vite/Webpack, monorepos, linting/formatting, dependency management)
  • Production observability and debugging (frontend monitoring, error tracking, and analytics instrumentation)
  • Frontend security fundamentals (e.g., XSS/CSRF, secure authentication flows, and secure handling of client-side data)
  • Use of Generative AI within your workflows and/or products you are creating
  • Created proven scalable solutions, especially with AI
  • Experience with integrating cloud services directly into complex solutions (GraphQL/Restful APIs)
  • Experience in agile environments for digital product creation

  • Shape and scale client product and platform engineering capabilities (operating model, team topology, and delivery practices)
  • Build trusted senior client relationships and align stakeholders on clear outcomes, scope, and measures of success
  • Lead engineering across large digital and agile transformation programmes, improving predictability, quality, and delivery pace
  • Set the web front-end technical direction, including architecture, engineering standards, and governance
  • Raise the bar for web quality and reliability by championing testing, accessibility, performance (Core Web Vitals) and production observability
  • Identify, prototype and scale Generative AI use cases in products and delivery workflows, ensuring responsible adoption and measurable value
  • Grow and retain high-performing teams through coaching, feedback, hiring support, and clear progression pathways
  • Create and evolve reusable assets (e.g., Next.js accelerators, design system patterns, and delivery playbooks) and represent the practice internally and externally
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data and Engineering to deliver user-centered web products from discovery through to production

As a Front End Engineering Assoc. Manager, you will:
