Job summary

Comand AI is seeking a front-end specialist to join the product development team and own the Prevail front-end from design through production. You will build interfaces for real geospatial problems and collaborate with product and design to deliver production-ready experiences.

You will raise the front-end quality bar across the team, handle trade-offs under tight deadlines, and help establish reusable patterns as the product scales. Paris or London based, EU/UK citizen required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Track record of owning complex interfaces from problem definition through release.
• Strong product and design judgement with an eye for hierarchy and interactions.
• Pragmatic, low ego approach to collaboration and code quality.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• EU or UK citizenship required for defence contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end delivery on Prevail, from interaction design to production.
• Build interfaces for geospatial problems: maps, multiple layers, large datasets, time-sensitive workflows.
• Collaborate early with product and design to translate needs into flows and experiences.
• Raise front-end quality by reviewing and improving work across disciplines.
• Make trade-offs between speed and durability during high-stakes demos or deployments.
• Create reusable patterns to maintain coherence as the product grows.
