The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred patient care experience or related certification (CNA, EMT/Paramedic, or BA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of patient care experience in a health care facility.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant course at an accredited institution.
• EMT or Paramedic certification; Bachelor’s degree as alternative education path.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant and efficient operations of the physician medical office.
• Schedule, patient registration, telephone triage, medical records, billing, and collections.
• Coordinate daily clinic preparation, patient identification, check-in/out, charge posting, and cash management.

Education
