A fantastic opportunity to join the Supported Employment Team as a Supported Employment Coordinator, managing your own diary and working out in the community to help autistic individuals or those with learning disabilities gain employment.

You will need to live in Frome or the surrounding areas to understand the local community and support people into sustainable paid employment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
• Problem-solve and make decisions.
• Engage with families and develop confidence and trust with people and their families.

Aufgaben

• Coach job seekers and employers to plan longer-term employment strategies.
• Assess interests, abilities and support needs to shape person-centred employment planning.
• Hold and manage a caseload allocated by the Supported Employment Manager.
• Complete timely reviews and respond to support requests to secure progression.
