Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is seeking a motivated Midday Assistant to join the lunchtime team. The role runs daily from 11:40 to 13:20 during term time, with no job share and training provided.

Responsibilities include supervising children in the dining hall and playground, assisting with meals, and light cleaning duties. DBS clearance will be required and applicants should be available for the 28 September 2026 closing date and 1 October 2026 interview.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children both in the dining hall and the playground during the lunch time period.
• Assist with the supervision of pupils whilst they are eating.
• Support the general supervision of pupils to and from dining hall and other designated areas.
• Supervise pupils in the playground and undertake appropriate playground activities.
• Carry out some general cleaning duties in the hall such as wiping tables and brushing the floor
