Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road, meeting customers in their homes and delivering excellent service with a smile. The role is hands-on, physical and varied, with independence and backing from a supportive team at base.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12 hours.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Customer-focused, friendly and able to deliver great service.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and workspace clean, organised and ready for deliveries.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions clearly and handle refunds when needed.
• Deliver orders within the customer time slot and provide friendly service.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to deliver the best service.
