Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Manchester is seeking a meat department associate to weigh, wrap, label, and merchandize meat, poultry, seafood and prepared foods. You will assist Members, answer questions, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the meat department.

Previous experience in meat or deli operations is preferred; strong customer service and knowledge of wrapping equipment are a plus. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in meat/deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meat cuts and seafood; assist in packaging freshly cut items.
• Inspect and store meat deliveries; ensure quality standards are met.
