Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Manchester is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support the bakery department, proof and bake unfinished goods, and ensure food safety standards. You will follow production charts, prepare items, and help maintain clean work areas while delivering great member service.

You will contribute to a fast-paced retail bakery, rotate stock, assist customers, and keep displays well stocked and attractive, collaborating with teammates to achieve daily goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail bakery preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members.
• Proofs and bakes bakery goods following product handling information and production charts.
• Package, display and rotate bakery products while ensuring freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleaning, safety standards and proper operation of bakery equipment and work areas.
• Receive, inspect and store bakery shipments; manage stock and pricing where applicable.
