Job summary

Morrisons Market Street is seeking a dedicated Fishmonger to join our fresh fish counter team. You will scale, fillet, skin, pin bone, gut and price fish to customer specs while offering cooking advice and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

You will work closely with the Market Street Manager, delivering friendly service, keeping displays fresh and compliant with safety and allergen guidelines in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Competent in cleaning, preparing, filleting, pin boning, scaling, skinning and gutting products.
• Ability to advise customers on preparation and cooking of seafood.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, retail environment with attention to hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first by delivering friendly, helpful service and sharing preparation tips.
• Prepare and present fresh fish to exact specifications and weight.
• Maintain attractive, well-stocked displays and ensure product availability.
